Summary | 0000341: Miners descending z-levels by using ramps are unable to path back up. |
Description | After embarking, two miners, using the ramps created by channeling, descended four z-levels to dig out some squares. When they became thirsty they were unable to path back up to the surface to get a drink even though the ramp placement would have allowed it. Likewise a create wall task on the surface didn't list any stone that was created by the miners past the ramps. |
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Dig into a cliff side and create a short line of channels.
2. In the next z-level down dig next to where the newly created ramps are and channel another level downward. Repeat 2-3 times.
The miners are able to go downward, but are unable to figure out a path back to the surface. |
Additional Information | When trying to create stairs for them to path to the surface, I think they used the ramps to ascend a few times. But they didn't figure out a way to the stockpiles on the surface. |
