Description | Everytime i kill a minotaur the game shuts down. this has happened to me in two different worlds. if i catch them in a cage i get a bit longer until they starve. also i downloaded a the game again and still getting the same problem. any help would be greatly appreciated. | |||||
Steps To Reproduce | this has happened in three games and two seperate worlds. i have killed a minotaur without it crashing once. | |||||

Reminder sent to: joeamorgan You seem to be using mods and they have probably turned TrueType on by default. Open your DF/Data/Init folder and open the init.txt file. Scroll down to the [TRUETYPE:YES] tag and change it to [TRUETYPE:NO]. This should stop your crash. Let me know if it does or not. Note that this bug is fixed for next version. See Bug 0003762. Further Notes for joeamorgan: Experiencing 0000895 for the place item in tomb cancellations - bodies (Udil Morulrithlut and Meng Oddomtirist) being zoomed to are in the river on the edge of the screen but isn't physically there. Forbidding the corpses on the stocks screen will stop the spam. You'll have to also make engraved slabs for these guys to get the ghost(s) to go away (and anyone else that is not reachable). To stop the store owned item messages, you'll have to forbid the dead dwarf's clothing in the stocks screen that new people have claimed (such as Likot Stinerith's (cave spider silk trousers)). There are a couple others trying as well. |
