Summary | 0007407: Unable to transfer goblins to pit zone due to terror | |||||
Description | Attempts to put goblin in pit zone are always interrupted by 'overcome by terror'. Discipline of hauler makes no difference (tested w/ dabbling - legendary). Wild animals and pets can be successfully pitted in same location. Goblin is also overcome by terror. Seems to occasionally trigger a disorderly behavior justice flag that results in the hauler getting a (fatal) meeting w/ the captain of the guards. | |||||

Just came here to report the same thing :-) Goblins do not go gentle into that dark pit. Terror seems to strike as soon as the goblin is released, which results in the pitting job being cancelled and the goblin therefore being released. More problematic is that the resulting dwarf brawl seems to spread the disorderly flag (or whatever it is) around, much like a tantrum spiral but wierder. |

Retested in 40.04, still present. Releasing goblin from cage creates terror in goblin and hauler, hauler flees, gets beaten down by any nearby military. No longer seeing the disorderly behavior flag though, so that may have been a fluke. Terror flag appears to temporarily change unit's allegiance. |

Tentatively closing this for 0.40.06. Dwarf ponded a minotaur going from cage to halfway across the map without incident after some bug fixes. |
