| Description | I disabled my expedition leader's labors so he could (finally) have a meeting with a very unhappy peasant. Later I found the two having a meeting in the leader's room and decided to reactivate his labors before I forget. This caused him to leave on a hauling job immediately, with the peasant following him and trying to attend a meeting again. | ||||||||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Have a meeting going on. Enable a labor for the dwarf conducting a meeting and watch as he/she leaves the meeting for another job. | ||||||||||
| Additional Information | Why should meetings be interruptable? I'd rather have it the other way so that meetings would instead interrupt some petty hauling jobs. | ||||||||||

Also happened in 40D. Conduct meeting is an extremely low priority job, so the dwarf will work in workshops, mine, haul, eat, drink, and sleep all before doing a meeting. Meetings are only ever done in their spare time. Its probably a good idea to have your leader be a full time administrator. Disable all jobs on him so all of his time is available to manage work orders and conduct meetings. |

This did not help for me since as the mayor had his old quarters still assigned he ended up endlessly moving his things around between bedrooms. Basically the mayor was doing everything he could to avoid a meeting. This also a case of liaison so I'm guessing the diplomat is going to just wander off unhappily rather soon, it has been almost a season with all the mayor's labors disabled and even 'all dwarves harvest' disabled. |
