0010765: Upon reload, various severed parts of cavern critters spontaneously catch fire
Before I begin: I use the Lazy Newbie Pack with DFhack's performance tweaks.

So I had chopped up a firebreathing FB. Decided to secure the cavern with my squad while my dorfs went to work butchering up the carcass. I used DFhack's quicksave during that time and several minutes later Win10 decides it's time to auto-restart for my updates to take effect.

When I reload the save however; I suddenly get a spam of "cancels x; can not find y" and my FPS drops from a solid 90 to like... 3. I quickly figure out my entire fortress is burning. "That's weird", I figure and do a ctrl-alt-del to close the game without saving. I reload and once again the same issue.

It takes me several reloads to figure out that all the parts that once belonged to this FB are what's catching fire.
1. Kill firebreathing FB. (actually unsure if the firebreathing is what caused it but seems logical?)
2. Butcher it up creating more pieces of it.
3. Save the game while pieces are being hauled.
4. Reload
5. one-step further.
6. Is everything burning? Great!
I backed up the savegame. Just reload; one-step and all pieces of the FB start burning/cause a fire.

What's the best/easiest place to upload said game for you guys?

Thank you for the save. The burning bits are from various other critters (e.g. troll head, elk bird right foot, troglodyte lower right back tooth, etc.). It appears that these remains were caught in a large cavern fire, possibly ignited by the forgotten beast. Then, on reloading the save, the various bits burst into flame (including those in dwarves' inventories being hauled to the refuse pile).

Did you have temperature calculations disabled when you created the save? Disabling temperature calculations will not prevent some effects setting the temperature of tiles/items, but will prevent those items from reacting to the temperature (e.g. bursting into flame) until temperature calculations are re-enabled.

Yes; the FB cleared out the cavern there so killed tons of stuff. I must not have noticed it was those that were burning and assumed it was the FB pieces.

No; I do not play with temperature off.

I do use "clean all" and "quicksave" commands in DFhack every so often. Reasons being the first helps keep FPS up and second I've crashed enough times already to be careful.

Also: there was no huge cavern fire. That first cavern layer has no water in it and no flora was growing there. So whenever the FB spewed fire there was no additional damage from other fires. Just a ton of tiles turning into muddy for some reason. (fire heating up soil I imagine)

Spontaneous fire starts upon load. Two body parts — giant olm right front leg and elk bird neck — ignite. These body parts belong to creatures that were thrown into magma pit alive (separated after impact).
