Summary | 0001144: Worldgen adventurers continue to attack megabeasts who have become part of their civ |
Description | When giving a megabeast the [POWER] and [INTELLIGENT] tags, they can take over entity positions as expected, but adventurers continue to attack them - which under certain circumstances may include adventurers from their own civilization.
A sample save with dragons being attacked after attaining entity positions can be uploaded if desired. |
Steps To Reproduce | Add [POWER] and [MEGABEAST] to the dragon raws, and generate a new medium or large world. |

Notes |
I fail to see the problem. Adventurers who know that their civ leader is a monster should be able to attempt to overthrow (eg. kill) that beast. |
It never happens for demons, though, whether from their own civ, or from another (excluding adventure mode bugs, that is). At the very least, it's inconsistent - why would adventurers attack one manifestation of a god, but not the other, or one goblin overlord, but not the other? |
Does "adventurers continue to attack them" refer to the fact that you get quests to kill them? |
No, the worldgen adventurers continue to attack the megabeasts in question. |
Oh, gotcha. I think that's the first time I've heard them referred to as adventurers. |
I just got a kill mission, ok, for the "Master" of the human civ, a cavy demon name ILlya. So I cut him down. I then go back to the warlord who gave me the quest (all this having never left town), and HE is hostile to me. This... probably shouldn't be. |
