Summary | 0000115: Web page looks like .... in Google Chrome |
Description | The new web page looks like crap in google chrome.
The animated gif doesn't work. The background image doesn't show up. The development page has white background, black text and a brown background for the text, totally unusable. |
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Download Google Chrome.
2. View web-page. |
Additional Information | The page is slow as Amarok in Firefox as well. The static/non-scrolling background image does that to web pages.
I used to be able to follow your development page on my cell-phone but now it's to slow since I have to download the background image as well. |

I use Firefox and the page works great. It is actually faster than the previous one.
This really isn't a bug. Should probably post this on the forums under suggestions. |

I use google chrome and the webpage looks fine. Not sure what is being seen here as a problem. May need a screenshot. |

I use Google Chrome, but this issue does not occur on my configuration. |

I use firefox, new page is faster to load than the old one. Browsing it from my Blackberry Pearl works great too. |
How can you call this a major issue? |

Chrome 5.0.342.8 on Windows XP SP3. Works fine, I can see the animation and everything. Try reinstalling Chrome. |

Is this about Google Chrome on Windows or on your cell phone? The report says Win 7 but you talked about your cell phone, so I'm really not sure. |

Non issue, Google Chrome loads up the Dwarf Fortress page lightning fast and without any error. Looks identical to Firefox. |
The Development page looks flaky as all get out on my Win7 64bit with Chrome.
This isn't a major issue, by any stretch though. |

I'm probably running the 5.0 beta at home, that might be the cause of it. I'll try clearing my cache when I get home.
Page is still slow as heck on my cellphone though, the addition of a background image just makes Tarn's Internet bill go up... |
