Summary | 0001510: Floating creatures stuck in projectile status |
Description | While mining in a cavern, a dwarf was caught in a cave-in, leaving him on a single cave floor tile attached to the rock face. A second cave-in, however, removed that tile from beneath him. Rather than falling, he remained on the tile, now designated "open space." Building a floor to reach him did no good, and he is not visible from the "View Unit" interface, though he functions normally in the "Look" interface. |

Yes, it does. I posted a save containing the miner (who has now been falling almost a year) for an unrelated bug report. The save is at http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=2280 [^]
The miner can be found on level 125, two levels below hotkey F3. |

IIRC, this bug happens when you save the game while someone is falling/being thrown. |

That's the suspicion, yeah. I think it was additionally suspected that it only happens when the creature is flying sideways from a blow or a cave-in, rather than simply falling. |

I've recently lost an adventurer to this after stepping for fun into an air tile left by a collapsing tree. :< |
