Summary0001578: Dwarf Mechanic cannot link Water Pressure Plate to Drawbridge
DescriptionDecided to link up a drawbridge to remove some annoying water that built up in a special metal pit. The drawbridge is made of rough granite, and is set up -right- next to a water pressure plate. The mechanic successfully linked up the plate itself, but is now stuck forever linking the bridge to the plate. The task never seems to get completed, despite being a legendary + 5 mechanic.
Steps To ReproduceBelieve I have a save if necessary to see. Plate is confined in a small place directly next to the bridge.

Does it persist after save/load? Is the mechanic "stuck" in anyway (Ie: trapped by water?)

It does, but I guess it's not easily repeatable since he was able to do one directly one step north of what he was working on.

No water, no stuck. He was currently -doing- the task, he just wasn't ever finishing it. Was strange.

Without a save, and no other reports of this problem, there's little that can be done here. If someone has a save demonstrating this issue, please upload it to http://dffd.wimbli.com/ [^] and either reopen this report or PM a manager on the forums to reopen it.
