Summary | 0001747: Blood spatter from pack animals has blank creature name |
Description | Whenever a trader's animal is injured, the resulting bloodstains are labeled "A pool of 's mule blood" or the like, instead of just "A pool of mule blood". |
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Build trade depot
2. Build upright spears/spikes in depot entrance hallway
3. Wait for any caravan to arrive
4. Pull the Lever/R |

you can just inspect the creatures while they are alive and uninjured and see that this is the case, there is no need to stab them with spikes, lol. |

It seems like the problem is that pack animals get assigned blank names instead of none, which would lead to the bloodstain thing. Would it be possible to butcher one of them to see if the name carries over to the body parts as well? |

After wounding a yak the merchant was using, I had the proper blood and confirmed that it does a name check. Feel free to re-report if this happens in 0.40.01+. |
