Summary | 0001780: Workshop profile skill settings don't work |
Description | I'm trying to make high quality electrum crafts for trading at my magma metalsmith but unless i enable dabbling in the workshop dwarves i can't make them.
I think the make electrum crafts use the wrong skills, it doesn't even use 1 skill i think it use 2 skills, blacksmithing and metal crafting because i have multiple dwarves at high skill level in both but NO dwarves with high in both.
It works immediatelly when i lower the requirement in the workshop to dabbling -i found this VERY strange and it is really annoying i can't get my high skill level dwarves to make nice electrum crafts! |
Steps To Reproduce | Raise the skill level in magma forge higher than what you got in a dwarf in both blacksmithing and metal crafting, even if you have legendary dwarves in one of each it wont work unless you lower it to dabbling!
At: Magma Forge.
With: Electrum crafts. |
Additional Information | I have only tried electrum crafts for now. |

I think the make electrum crafts use the wrong skills, it doesn't even use 1 skill i think it use 2 skills, blacksmithing and metal crafting because i have multiple dwarves at high skill level in both but NO dwarves with high in both.
I'm pretty sure it just uses one skill -- I don't think the job system even supports jobs that take multiple skills yet.
Anyway, can anyone reproduce this? |

It works when i assign the dwarf and with dabbling requirement, at least this way random dabbling dwarves will not use up all electrum ^.^

I have noticed the same problem with my Jeweler's Workshop. Setting the minimum level to anything other than Dabbling prevents ALL queued tasks from being worked.
Assignment by permitted worker works.
I find this an odd bug, since it seems that the minimum skill level assignment works in Carpenter's, Mason's, Mechanic, and the general Craftsdwarf shop. |

This does not reproduce for me. I'll need a save to proceed further.
edit: If the issue was rust, that was intended, but if it's confusing I'll go ahead and change it.
