Summary0001784: Militia commander causes crash
DescriptionEdit: With the Militia commander Etur in his squad, the game crashes - if you remove him from the military by disbanding the squad, the game stops crashing for a while.

Essentially, my game on this file crashes. I don't know exactly what it is, so I've included both an Errorlog and a gamelog up to the point of crashing. Please note that the gamelog, has multiple game loads, due to the fact of me trying to figure out what it was.

Originally, I had thought it was a certain dwarf that was crashing it, a medic that I was trying to kill(Yes, because the stupid bastard has adopted all my wardogs, disallowing me to restrain them outside.) Then I thought it was the squad I was assigning it. Both checked out to be fine. I checked the error logs, and there seems to be some sort of stockpile error. Or something, I don't know.

Reproduce: Let the game run.
To resolve, open the military screen and disband the topmost squad (the one with the militia commander in it).

Hi Onasaki, I'm downloading your save now, but it would be helpful if you could include a direct link to your save in the future.

Edit: The crash is being caused by your Militia Commander Etur Z something.

If you disband the squad he's in from the military menu (the top most squad) the crash is resolved (at least for a while - I didn't exactly let it run for a day and a half to check for stability).

Ah.. I see. Sorry for the lack of linkage. Not used to reporting stuff like this.

Anyway, thanks. Do you have any tips as to what to do with Etur? Should I kill him? Keep him away from the commander position, or what?

Just keep him away from the military in general, I'd say. Kill him if you want, but I don't feel it's necessary.

Yeah, this is the squad info disconnect bug. Saves'll patched up for 0.31.07, but I'm still working on the root cause.
