Summary0002454: Diplomat leaves unhappy when new mayor elected during meeting
DescriptionBecause I wasn't paying very much attention, the dwarven diplomat remained in my fort until early summer, when I realized he still had not left and forced my mayor to begin a meeting. At this point, the mayor faced election time and lost to a farmer. I immediately got the message "A diplomat has left unhappy."
Steps To Reproduce1) Don't un-assign mayor's tasks when a diplomat arrives. Keep him/her constantly busy.
2) Wait until election time.
3) Hope current mayor loses the election.
Additional InformationIf this happens again next year, I'll update the Reproducability section.

Just had this happen in 40.05 - new mayor was elected and the liaison immediately left unhappy (the message is "a diplomat").

This happens as soon as diplomat enters map, even if meeting is not yet scheduled
