Summary | 0000264: Magma man destroys blizzard man's fat without causing other damage |
Description | In the arena I set a magma man and a blizzard man to fighting, and after they duked it out for a while the fat was gone from every single body part of the blizzard man, so I guess the magma man's body heat had melted, boiled or burned the fat away. But even though melting, boiling or burning the fat inside the blizzard man's body should have further damaged it, the only other damage the blizzard man had was three burns on its arms. |

1st round: Fight lasts a long time with blizzard man sustaining heavy bruising from magma man. No life-threatening injuries, though an ear and two fingers are broken. Eventually fat starts to melt off. Blizzard man even jumped into a river close to the end and I had to manually take him out. Nevertheless, it was obvious the magma man was losing and he was eventually killed.
2nd round: Spawned replacement magma man. Magma man quickly pulps a toe on wounded blizzard man followed by smashing in his head. Takes heavy damage.
3rd Round: Separate fight. Very similar to round two. Magma man takes heavy damage before pulping a toe and followed by the head.
4th round: Directly control Blizzard man and head to magma man from round 3 without attacking to see if I can get any burns ( Didn't see any before ). Was killed in a few hits. Toe then head. |

Further testing: I placed blizzard men is 1/7 puddles of magma, and they all melted to death, whereas dwarves placed in the same puddles bled to death, so it looks like blizzard men are reacting to extreme heat properly. |
