Summary | 0003047: Replaced nobles' mandates are still expected to be fulfilled |
Description | When manually replacing a noble who can make mandates (such as the mayor), the previous noble's mandates will remain invisibly in place, leading to the same results as if that Dwarf was still a noble (ie. a random Dwarf gets sentenced as a criminal for failure to complete a production mandate, or culprits of exporting goods will get sentenced as criminals for breaking an export ban). |
Steps To Reproduce | Simply replace a mayor who has made a production mandate or export ban with another Dwarf, and then either violate the ex-mayor's export ban or fail to fulfill the production mandate in time. |

sounds like this is related to 0002512 which discusses if you should be allowed to replace your mayor in the first place. |

|
|
It's definitely related, assuming that mayors/expedition leaders aren't supposed to be replaceable. However, Toady stated during development of 0.31.x that the replacement of mayors/expedition leaders by the player was intentionally implemented. It is possible that he just never removed that feature when he tightened up the whole "Dwarves immediately assign new expedition leader/mayor when the previous one dies" feature to work right. |
