And if you regenerate the world with the same parameters, does the crash still exist?

does not, so this (or both of these bugs) are probably save corruption related

Loading the save file in .24 crashes in dwarf mode right when I even try to move the embark cursor in the world.

Could be another case of W64 COMPRESSED_SAVE corruption or the multi-gen-world-in-a-row corruption.
