Notes |
As hooves, horns, shells, nails & teeth are all able to be made into crafts or for decoration hair should probably follow suit. |
In the real world, animal hair is used to make rope and cloth, namely from horse/donkey/mule hair or sheep wool and angora goats and rabbits are bred to make angora wool (Angora sweaters, anyone?). Certain breeds of horses are raised specifically for their hair, which is used to make horse-hair blankets (primarily in the old Soviet Union, though I'm sure it happens elsewhere as well).
Edit: So this probably falls more in the realm of suggestions, rather than bugs.

It becomes a bug when you have tons of the stuff cluttering your fort & you're forced to constantly dump it just to stop it taking up space in your refuse stockpiles. It doesn't rot so even moving it to a refuse stockpile outside won't help, you will eventually fill it up no matter how big the stockpile is unless you mark them all for dumping. |

Scale is another thing that might belong in this discussion. |

Adding a relation to 0001669 because these are all tissue layers that aren't currently being used. |

This will probably become "no change required" in 0.31.19. |
Indeed -- hair has a use now in 0.31.19. |
