Summary0003638: Raw gems don't appear in jeweler's workshop unless cut ones are available
DescriptionPretty much what it says in the title. My latest fort is situated entirely in the caverns, so I wonder if this is an extension of earlier pathfinding issues- except the dwarves will move the gems just fine if I move the stockpile.

Basically, I know for sure my dwarves can get to both the gems and the workshop. However, no gems appear in the workshop screen to cut. This wasn't happening in my other (outside the caverns) 31.16 fort; it's still occurring after porting the save to 31.17, so of course I got a moody dwarf that wants cut gems. (None of the gems were cut since I couldn't select them to cut, so I don't know if he'd go claim them or not.)
Steps To ReproduceI haven't tried building another cavern fort to see if this happens, if its location is even part of the problem.
Additional InformationI have a fair amount of mods, but the only ones having to do with minerals are adding more of them.

Using burrows? Are you sure you didn't accidentally put the impassable tiles of the workshop along the entrance wall?

Only as an alert state which isn't active right now, and yes because I tried it in a couple different places and the building dwarf didn't get trapped.

From 0004387,

While the cutting/encrusting doesn't appear in the jeweler's workshop, you can order them through the manager.

The raw diamonds aren't tasked or forbidden. Building another workshop doesn't change the situation.

Once cut, they show up as they should (after they are hauled back to their bins and not tasked).

Cropped up again in my 31.25 game, this time with fire opals. Interestingly, fire opals were the only gem that's affected in this fort, so far at least.
