Summary | 0004671: Infinite Traction |
Description | Patient is placed in traction because of overlapping fractures, at which point the bone doctor leaves and goes No Job, and the patient has no scheduled treatment but is In Traction.
The patient remains in traction for seemingly ever, and if the Traction Bench is removed then they leave the hospital, before deciding they're injured and returning.
They're then re-evaluated, diagnosed, cleaned, and put back into traction... for the same to happen again. |
Steps To Reproduce | Try the above. |

|
Did the fracture actually heal?
Probably related to 0004470. |
|
|
|
No healing. Requesting diagnosis and undergoing cleaning and traction every time.
I've not got long 'til he dies of infection too I bet. |

Being in traction actually involves being strapped to the traction bench for weeks or months and waiting for the bones to heal (since if they're overlapping, you need to keep them pulled apart so they don't heal in the wrong position, hence the name "traction" - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traction_%28orthopedics%29 [^] ) - how long have you been waiting before trying to release them?

At first I was retrying every now and then, then I remembered that traction requires that and I left it for ages, but the wounds just didn't seem to heal, so I reinitiated it again. I guess I'll never know if it was long enough, my game died on me back to before it happened. |
