Summary | 0005186: When severing the body part "teeth", all teeth are being severed and fly off in many arcs |
Description | Since all teeth of a creature with GENERIC_TEETH are collected under one body part (teeth), severing this part results in some sort of tooth explosion, in which every single tooth is being severed and flies off in an arc.
This applies to other creatures as well, e.g. severing an Elf's body part "upper front teeth" severs two upper front teeth. |
Steps To Reproduce | Beat a creature with GENERIC_TEETH into unconsciousness, e.g. a Moose.
Attack the teeth. Stabbing them with a sword has always worked for me, grabbing and pinching them works just as well.
Watch the nice pattern the teeth form on the ground. |
Additional Information | Probably related to 0000701.
Attacking a conscious creature in the teeth usually just attacks the head, therefore this bug occurs relatively rarely. I first got it by getting a chance attack on a hippo's teeth, and it is pretty ridiculous to sever all of the teeth with a single stab. Using every single tooth as a body part would be annoying, so the best solution is probably to sever a few teeth with every attack until no teeth remain. |
