Summary | 0005206: Game closes itself down after world generation is completed |
Description | I just downloaded the newest version recently. I started creating a new world and it seemed like everything was going fine until after the world is created. (though it is a bit on the slow side near the end) However, once I pressed enter (as prompted), it closed out the entire program. When I started it up again, there was no trace of the world I had just created. Is there something I can do to fix it or is it just a glitch in the Linux version of the game?
I hope that this isn't too silly of a question. |

Is there a specific error that you see when DF closes? I suspect this might be related to 0005053 |
I may have made a duplicate of this with 0005212 |
Actually, I don't really see any error at all. It just closes on its own. |

If you run the game from a terminal to capture stdout, do you see anything interesting there when it exits? |

I ended up redownloading the game again and it seems to work fine this time. Sorry to take up your time. |

No problem, thanks for reporting back. |
