Summary | 0005694: Memory leak / performance issues with swimming long distances |
Description | Upon swimming halfway across the ocean as an adventurer, there are severe performance issues. The game will take approximately 30 seconds to update once you reach the edge of the screen. Memory use shoots up occasionally, but CPU usage for the core hits 100% all of the time. Saving and reloading the save will not fix the issue or reduce loading times upon resuming. Neither does restarting DF.
This is making it nearly impossible to travel in my world. I have a pretty beefy computer, so this is even a larger issue for people who have lesser computers. |
Steps To Reproduce | 1) Swim across the ocean |
