Summary | 0007620: Fortress semi revealed after un-retiring, dwarfs trapped in unrevealed areas. |
Description | I'm not sure this is in the right category, but whatever.
I've got quite the nice fort. Two cavern layers have been breached. I retired the fort, made an adventurer, went into the fort a bit to grab some equipment, then went slaughtering goblins. I then retired the adventurer at the fortress.
Upon un-retiring the fort, I was shocked to discover that large parts of the fortress are hidden, as if unexplored. This is a major problem as there are lots of dwarfs there. They are trapped in the unrevealed areas, unable to move, yet they spam job cancellations as they are trying to do things.
FPS is less than 1; I believe their repeated pathfinding attempts are slowing everything down to a crawl. |
Steps To Reproduce | Make a fortress
breach the caverns(?)
Retire fort, and start an adventurer. Explore the fort a little, but not completely
Leave the site and return.
Retire adventurer at the fort
Un-retire the fort in fortress mode

Had this too with one of my forts. A lot of job cancellation messages because dwarfs couldn't pen the hidden yaks |

Bug replicated with a backup save. The adventurer part is unnecessary. I'm not sure if it has to do with the volcano's magma shaft, or the fact that the caverns are breached. |
