Summary | 0008090: Constructing Buildings out of Wagon Wood requires Masonry job to build. |
Description | Constructing buildings from the 'Wall/Floor/Stairs/Track' menu out of a wagon wood log requires a dwarf with the masonry job enabled to construct, despite the said material being labeled as "wood", and also the wagon creature, the wagon wood log has come from, using the WOOD_TEMPLATE material. |
Steps To Reproduce | Construct a Building (Walls, Floors etc..) out of Wagon Wood. |
Additional Information | Modifications made to my client and related files excluding init.txt and d_init.txt:
-Replaced [FLIER] with (FLIER) in the raws as a work around for bug 0006737
-Added the following line to df_linux/df as a work around for bug 0002688:

I didn't test this bug with any other saves, I invite anyone to do so.
EDIT: I guess I should also say that the world, I've tested the bug with, was generated in 40.09

Can confirm. This is the same for crafting jobs, such as making "Wagon wood thrones" rather than "Wagon wood chairs". (And these also take place at a mason's workshop.) |

In my modding experiments, I generated a world without trees where the embark wagon logs were made out of NONE. They also used the masonry skill when used to make workshops.
Might not be related, just mentioning here in case. |
