Summary | 0000081: Unknown subterranean collapse at embark |
Description | Something many z levels down immediately collapsed when I arrived. I was unable to see the collapse directly, although there was a message for it and centering on the collapse took me too deep underground unrevealed terrain. |
Steps To Reproduce | This will be hard to reproduce. |

I had this happen as well.
Was quite confused. |
It has happened to me as well. I think it has something to do with elevation of your embarking |
Hard to say what it has to do with. Best thing I think we can do is collect saves when it happens or something. |
Happened to me as well. I embarked in a area with quite a lot of elevation changes (next to a hill/mountain). It wouldn't be difficult to just send in the save files, but that could get pretty big if we send the whole thing. :) |

Also happened to me:
Generating world using parameter set POCKET REGION
Seed: 133013196
History Seed: 2125408552
Name Seed: 566932436
Creature Seed: 2779355272
Not quite sure where the fortress was, but I can find that out. I was in an area that was I think a border between mountain and field? It had about a 20 z-level very steep dropoff on one side. |

yea, well I figure if you see a collapse, stop, save, copy your save folder, rename it and set it aside someplace safe. Then pull the worldgen values for your world as well and save that off in a text file, stash it someplace safe, and just wait. Sooner or later odds are pretty good Toady will ask for that information.
I agree I wouldn't upload until it is asked for since I don't know for certain what exactly they'll want and I wouldn't want to be responsible for flooding their filespace unnecessarily.

I always get a cave-in at the deep Z-levels. Seems to happen whenever I embark at a location with a HFS. |
Same to me cave-in as i arrived on the spot. |
