Summary | 0008688: Bugged items appear empty or undefined, result in blank/black tiles. |
Description | In my fort, I noticed a blank/black tile that appeared after I eliminated a furniture stockpile and my dwarves removed all the furniture. Further inspection revealed that the blank/black tile actually contained 5 items that were empty or undefined. Using [k]-[v] shows no name, no description, and a monetary value of 1. Using the mass designation menu [d][b][f/c] reveals that the items may be assigned tile 250. These bugged items can be dumped, forbidden, hidden, or moved during construction like typical items. |
Steps To Reproduce | Unknown how to reproduce. Creating and deleting additional furniture stockpiles does not cause more bugged items to appear. |
Additional Information | Bugged save is provided at
http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=10370 [^]
I left a Note to help locate the bugged items. I am currently looking into whether or not stepladders are involved with this bug, as they are the only new feature furniture that I know to have been in that stockpile prior to my observation of this bug. |

Nope. Save game data and raws are all from fresh install. My changes include my own graphics set, tile set, color scheme, and init options.

Considering that the items were using Tile 250 (same tile used for seeds), I think this bug is a duplicate of the Issue # 6750. I haven't seen bug since I started playing v0.40.24. |

Ah, that would make sense. Feel free to reopen this report if you can reproduce this in 0.40.24+. |
