Summary0009462: Related to 9176, Issue of merchants appearing when fort retired seems to remain
DescriptionThe issue described in 9176 is marked resolved for 42.04, but that issue seems to remain. I retired a couple year old fort, made an adventurer, noticed a couple merchants.

When I retired the adventurer and then unretired the fort, sure enough there were two elf merchants, 2 of their camels, and one human hammerman at the site, all marked as hostile in the units list, but none of them attacking my peoples.

It would appear that this remains an issue. I will do some further checking as I play over the weekend and provide a save if I can.

In such case it is better to just PM one of managers on forums and ask them reopen the old report. This report will thus be closed as duplicate and 0009176 will be reopened now.

Please upload saves (zipped region folder) that show this behaviour to http://dffd.bay12games.com/ [^] and post a link to it in 0009176 once that gets reopened.

Is anything happening here? This is still open and the original bug report is still marked 'resolved'. Would hate to see the bug-stomping phase come and go with Toady oblivious to this because nobody got round to telling him his fix didn't work.
