(0010691) Logical2u (manager) 2010-07-19 15:14	From personal experience it's consistent across my fortresses, and the only relevant skill it wants is diagnostician, and not any other skill.

(0010705) Chattox (reporter) 2010-07-20 04:29	Relatively sure this is because that's the only skill a chief medical dwarf needs, IIRC. Something like you can't start diagnosing patients without one or something, and other than diagnosing people he acts the same as any other doctor.

(0029905) Toady One (administrator) 2014-09-02 13:50	Yeah, this isn't a bug. The diagnose skill is used on the health screen, and the chief medical dwarf doesn't have any other special responsibilities that I recall.
