Summary | 0000357: some combinations of splatter on objects can generate an empty black tile
Description | If the right combination of splatter shares a tile with an object that object ends up being displaced as an empty black tile. What all combinations cause this effect would be extremely tedious to determine experimentally. Here's an example of a combination that generates a black tile in this case it is hiding my stone-fall trap. A pile of alunite A pile of silt loam pool of blood(x3) smear of blood(x5)

i had this happen to some of my stairs after a cave in. Unbuilding them, and rebuilding them cleared out the silt and fixed the graphical glitch. |

I have this on a tile I'm currently trying to build on. Only contaminant listed is "a dusting of loam." As soon as any building is put there, tile just turns completely black, turns back to a normal ground tile when it's canceled. Built a wall there and tore it down, display came back. |

building/removing a wall removes the contaminants if I am not mistaken, which naturally would fix the problem at least temporarily. |

note, this effect can also happens before a construction is completed which I've described over in 0000167 |

(31.12) Piles of sandy clay loam also make (wooden) doors turn into black-on-black tiles. |
