0000591: Dwarves will remain in "no job" state

Description

I just got a wave of immigrants, and for a few minutes they hauled some stuff and did normal dwarfy stuff. All of a sudden, and without any provocation, nearly off of my dwarves stopped any activities and just either wandered or stood at the meeting area, or occasionally sat at a workshop, without doing anything.

They were all military squads, but they were not active, had no orders, and my original 7 dwarves had performed fine for a season in such a setup.

I don't know what I did (if anything) to stop their activities, sorry I can't help there.

When relieved from a squad, dwarves do not resume civilian jobs, even when squad is deleted entirely

If not, this sounds like http://www.bay12games.com/forum/index.php?topic=52403.0 [^] on a large scale. I thought I had seen this somewhere on Mantis, but now I can't seem to find it. Dwarves tend to lose the ability to do civilian tasks and be (secretly) stuck in the military permanently if you let them train. The exact details for how or why this happens are unknown, as it isn't 100%.
