Summary | 0006832: Trees and tree roots disappear when roots are mined or channeled into. |
Description | I was attempting to create a cave-in underneath a tree to test whether it'd create a patch of red sand like in my earlier bug report 0006831.
However, this is not possible, as mining or channeling into tree roots from above instantly annihilates the whole tree.
No collapse, nothing. Tree simply vanishes.
The roots are replaced with solid blocks of the material the floor or wall seems to be made of.
If this is done, the leaves that are on higher Z-levels are replaced with grey dots floating in mid-air that do not have a name, but do have an inside/outside value. |
Steps To Reproduce | Command a miner to dig into tree roots, or channel into them from above. |
Additional Information | Vanilla game. |
