Summary | 0009465: Sentient invaders and intruders cannot be assigned to a cage/chain/pit |
Description | I cannot assign to pit any intelligent creature that was captured by a cage trap. I captured some troglodytes and dwarves brought them to animal stockpile. I designated a pit to release them and free cages, but could not assign them to pit. Then I built a cage, but also could not assign them to it. I was forced to use the trade depot bug to free that cages.
I loaded another save and tried designating goblins to pit, cage and chain and all was the same.
Strangely, animated corpses of intelligent creatures still can be assigned to pit/cage/restraint. Also, undead sentient creatures that were killed again are contained in refuse stockpile, not corpse stockpile. |
Steps To Reproduce | Catch a goblin/troglodyte/other creature with [INTELLIGENT] or [CAN_LEARN] by a cage trap. Creature must not be undead.
Designate a pit zone.
Open Pit/Pond information. Captured creature will not appear in that list.
Build an empty cage or restraint. Captured creature also cannot be assigned to it. |
