Summary | 0002272: Issues with Arctic Oceans |
Description | Firstly, while the most recent temperature fix means I can now catch fish in Tropical Oceans, they is still nothing to catch in Arctic Oceans.
Secondly, any more importantly, Artic Oceans very commonly end up not being oceans, but rather massive blocks of snow-covered ice, often with a few Walruses crawling along the surface.
I did once get an ocean which had the first two z-levels being solid layers of ice, then several layers of liquid water underneath them, with a few Whales swimming about, which was a better representation of real life, but that was just a single occurance and I have no idea how to recreate it. |
Steps To Reproduce | Generate a World
Embark on a site containing an Artic Ocean |
Additional Information | I mostly use Large Regions, with no changes to the temperature settings, but I've also had these issues on maps of different sizes. |
