I have this, as well.
But I've noticed it in the Prepare carefully phase of embarking, when I was selecting a new item from the list.

I suspect that one of the entries on the kitchen screen is from (now unusable) wine that was cooked in your kitchen but not actually made into a meal, as described in issue 0000138.

I don't think it was from cooking wine. I believe I had disabled cooking for all dwarven alcohols after hitting that bug in a previous game, but I can't be certain as I no longer have the save.

I'm getting this bug for some of my non-booze items, namely cave fish and cave lobster. I didn't catch them myself, so perhaps it has something to do with Preparing before embark or trade goods.

This should be sorted out for 0.31.07, though the old saves will still have the lingering liquid items.
