(0016894) Dwarfu (manager) 2011-03-31 16:21	Reminder sent to: Babarix What mod(s) are you using? Is there a reason you have 198 1x2 food stockpiles instead of just one big one (especially since they all have the same settings)? To help keep some of the barrels reserved instead of in a constant state of being claimed by all those stockpiles, hit 'p' and then use '\' and '*' to designate some reserved barrels to keep for brewing. Once I designated some reserve barrels and made a single large stockpile, the problem went away. Does this resolve it for you as well?

(0016896) tatterdemalian (reporter) 2011-03-31 16:42	I've been having the same problem, and unfortunately reserving barrels doesn't help. It seems reserved barrels can't be used to brew drinks any more, instead they are permanently held in the furniture stockpile(s).

(0016897) tatterdemalian (reporter) 2011-03-31 16:52	Actually, a correction... it seems the "Reserve Barrels" function counts stone pots as barrels, but brewing jobs do not, or at least will not use stone pots in a furniture stockpile. So I have 10 reserve stone pots permanently occupying my furniture stockpile, none of which can be used to hold alcohol.

(0016900) Footkerchief (manager) 2011-03-31 17:14	tatterdemalian: you're experiencing a different issue that should go in a separate report, preferably with a save included. It sounds similar to 0004149, but I don't think it's been reported for stone pots.

(0016914) Babarix (reporter) 2011-03-31 23:36	I used the small Stockpiles because i have read somewhere that it makes the hole storing process more efficient. Sry if it was wrong i'm still learning in this game. To your solution: I made a big Stockpile and assigned 15 Barrels to it. Now the Booze production worked fine. But i use the Stockpile setting for a lot of fortresses and it worked till 0.31.20. So maybe its a other bug that worked here. Till then i think we can close this one.
