Summary | 0000554: Mining designations ignored |
Description | Miners will ignore some mining designations, digging up to a point but refusing to recognize that the next tile is designated to be dug out. This only applies to certain points, most often those underneath ramps (1 to 6 z-levels below, possibly more, haven't tested further), and will occasionally persist even after a ramp is removed. Artificial ramps don't seem to produce the effect consistently, either constructed or simply dug out. |
Additional Information | I've set the reproducibility as random because I can't determine exactly what causes it to occur. Most often ramps, sometimes nothing I can see. Maybe underground ramps?
Saving and loading will allow the miners to dig out one "layer" of designated area (A horizontal layer, consisting of all tiles immediately next to tiles that are already mined out, but any tiles further in than that will require another save-load) |
