Summary | 0008227: Workshop ignores max skill setting |
Description | In the process of encouraging my dwarves to make interesting artifacts, I assigned a bunch of them the weaponsmith and armorsmith labours, set my magma forge's profile to have a max skill of dabbling, and queued up alternating weapon and armor forging jobs.
Much to my surprise, my grower/armorsmith from embark showed up (after a couple of appropriate noobs had come to learn the basics of metalworking), and performed the task, even though her skill was "Proficient Armorsmith". |
Additional Information | Extra details about the armosmith: She's also a legendary grower, has created an artifact rounded steel helm (when possessed), and had quite possibly slipped to "rusty" in Armorsmithing. Could the workshop profile be working, but using skill after rust?
