Summary | 0007357: Traders teleport animal burdens to depot, pack animals subsequently wander around while prone |
Description | As soon as trader leading a pack animal touches the trade depot, the items carried by the animal teleport to the depot. The unburdened pack animal then goes prone and wanders around the depot while prone. |
Steps To Reproduce | 1) Caravan arrives with some trader-led pack animals.
2) Wait for a trader leading a pack animal to touch the trade depot. |
Additional Information | The save available for report 0007323 exhibits this behavior in addition to the crash. |

The part where the horses crawl away from the depot and then back certainly sounds like it might be the same thing.
I can't find 40.02 to download or I'd open up the save. |

Footkerchief: it is different animal behaviour in this bug.
In 0007041 any dragged animal moves a few steps backwards and then teleport back, per every move of dwarf dragging it.
In this bug merchant's pack animals, which stop being dragged, go prone and move around several tiles away from the depot until eventually moving themselves back to the depot.
