0004737: Dwarves ignore rotting dog corpse

Description

A stray dog was attacked by a badger inside my fortress. It later bled to death right beside my butcher shop, however, I could not assign it do be butchered, and now it is rotting while my dwarves ignore it. I have tried all the permutations of dumping, orders (dwarves dump/save corpses, gather/ignore outside resources) forbidding and unforbidding, but they still ignore it. They deal with things like badger corpses fine.

I edited the save file raws to give dogs different names depending on sex for easy pasturing, could this be causing it?
