Summary | 0002255: Quest tasks remain even after quest giver is killed |
Description | If you receive a quest to kill a particular creature and the questgiver is subsequently killed (for example, if a town's warlord asks you to kill their demonic lawgiver, then goes hostile once you actually do), the quest will remain in your Tasks list for the rest of eternity, as it is entirely impossible to report the death of a creature to somebody who is dead. |
Steps To Reproduce | Talk to a warlord, get a quest, then attack and kill the warlord. In the [Q] screen, the tasks list continues to list the quest you got, and if you go kill the listed creature, it will change to "Report Death of [creature]" even though this is impossible. |
