Summary | 0002303: Awkward adamantine pathing |
Description | My dwarves recently cut into a sea of magma which contained adamantine that I've been looking to cut through. I cut above the magma and used downward and upward stair designations to cut down further. My miners have, at numerous times, had 'no job', even when the designations were still standing. This being the case, they've only cut down one level into the vein, refuse to cut down another level (I've lined up the stairs multiple, multiple times), and refuse to extract the four units of raw adamantine I've mined out so far.
1: Dwarves will not mine through the lower layers of adamantine
2: Dwarves cannot pick up mined raw adamantine on the top layer. |
Steps To Reproduce | Maybe try placing an adamantine vein in the center of an underground magma sea and see if a group of dwarves can carve down through the center of it. |
Additional Information | I will also be attempting to go down a safe number of layers and carving up through the middle. |
