(0010774) prios (reporter) 2010-07-21 00:52	A "very muscular and just gigantic overall" werewolf came to my latest fortress, and my commander went out to kill it. What happened, among other things: "The Werewolf grabs The militia commander by the (cave spider silk sock) with his left hand!" ...and later "The Werewolf grabs The Axedwarf by the raccoon leather backpack with his right hand!" (My commander lost his commander status when I formed a new squad to try to save him. I think I accidentally replaced him. Not that it mattered; he was unconscious at the time.) After the werewolf finally bit the poor axedwarf's head off, I checked the werewolf's inventory and found that it was still holding the sock and backpack in its left and right hands, respectively. It also proceeded to use the sock as a weapon in combat, but only after the axedwarf was dead. Unfortunately, the werewolf stopped using his (far more effective) bite attack after he started using the sock, making him an unworthy target for revenge (a squad of unskilled dwarves mobbed him and took him down without any real injuries). I have a save, but unfortunately it was after, not before, the axedwarf's death. Think it'd be helpful to upload it anyway?
