(0004265) Snoopicus (reporter) 2010-04-19 13:48	If so, it should have the same effect as commandeering items from races (Negative relations), though perhaps it does and I have just not noticed it. It is hard to see this being an intended behavior, as it superceeds the players inability to commandeer items from dwarfish traders - which is a clearly intended feature.

(0006562) Baneslave (reporter) 2010-05-11 13:55	IIRC, the caravans check the trade balance when leaving the map, so this should have same effect as commandeering items.

(0008393) Toady One (administrator) 2010-06-14 01:57	Yeah, the reckoning comes when they return with lesser value, and it has the same negative effect (it'll be listed as a disaster rather than an intentional seizing -- the depot could be destroyed, for instance -- but it counts for the same value if I remember). The overall wording could be changed and the interaction could be deepened to recognize this or that, but it's working as intended.
