Summary | 0003757: Fire does not burn caravan
Description | A fire breathing shrew set the shrubland outside my fort ablaze, all my dwarves and pets melt if they try to go out but the caravan and its guards are nonchalantly waltzing through the flames on the way back to the mountain home as if nothings wrong and have no injures at all!
Steps To Reproduce | set heavily forested area outside fort on fire while caravan is in the depot(use magma and no melting point items?)

This is more of an issue of fire being mostly harmless to units provided they don't spend too much time standing in it. |

Do you have a save demonstrating this problem? Unless the save demonstrates otherwise, it's probably just what Quietust said. |

I thought I made a copy of that save at that point but I can't seem to find it. It's inconclusive either way, at the time the caravan left the map was a sea of fire and I had to confine my dwarves to the inside of the fort because they were melting left and right. Could just be because my dwarfs were stupid and moping about in the fire though, I wasn't watching them that closely. The caravan had to have walked through at least 30 squares that were actively on fire to get to the edge of the map though. Of course after the fire spread out a bit more and became less concentrated right outside the fort I turned off the burrow to see if it really wasn't that harmful and the dwarves went on their merry way hauling stuff through the flames like they were nothing so it probably was just fire isn't that harmful. |

Alright, we'll lump this in with 0001134. Thanks for the followup. |
