Summary | 0004202: Large stacks of bones cause ungodly clutter in workshops |
Description | The bones of some creatures (particularly megabeasts, but also things like jabberers) yield massive stacks of bones. When dwarves take these stacks into workshops to convert them into more worthwhile things, the workshop becomes cluttered - usually to the maximum amount. Only one bone gets converted into the end product, leading to a massive delay.
This also happens with meat obtained from such creatures, for purposes of cooking.
Perhaps a better idea would be for the dwarves to pick up only one of a stack, if they aren't going to operate on the entire stack at once?
