Summary | 0005534: Traders stop leaving the map
Description | I know this a known bug of sorts, but after reading several reports around this issue mine seems to be all encompassing. This game was started during the last large update. After several adventure games, I embarked in dwarf mode. I'm doing a 2x2 embark and my fort is very close to 2 map edges. A civilization built road runs through the top portion of the map. After a few successful trade runs through a single depot,I was messaged that an Elven trader went berzerk. I find them in a corner of the map opposite my fortress. I reloaded the save from a few in-game months prior, and continued on. Now caravans simply refused to leave. Only deconstructing the depot seems to release them. Additionally, large parts of the dwarven caravan show up weeks late, even though they're entering the map from the corner or edge closest to my fort.
Steps To Reproduce | Make a small embark and start the fort very close to the map edges, and make the embark over a civilization built road. Continue to trade until traders stop leaving of their own volition.

Are you sure the magons have a path to exit the map? Sometimes trees can grow and block them into the depot. You can check accessable wagon areas by pressing D. Do you have more than one depot? I dont know if it was fixed, but I placed two depots in my 34.01 game and it caused the traders to go to one, the wagons to the other, and neither would leave. |
