Summary | 0006009: Masons stand on wall they are constructing despite free tile in cardinal direction |
Description | Exactly what it says on the tin: Masons will occasionally stand on the wall segment that they are attempting to construct, despite having a free, adjacent tile in one of the four cardinal directions. This renders them unable to complete the wall segment, with cancellation message "Urist McMason cancels construct wall: Creature occupying site." They won't always do it, but when it does occur it is rather persistent. |
Additional Information | I have only observed this behaviour in wall construction next to downward ramps, but it is unclear whether this is significant.

The described behaviour occurs in a construction that should be visible upon load - if not, it can be found 1 through 3 z-levels above the F1 zoom position. |
