(0003541) Quietust (reporter) 2010-04-14 13:57 edited on: 2010-04-14 13:57	I believe it's based solely on what your adventurer can actually see at any axact moment. It was the same way back in 40d as well (though, if memory serves, not in 23a).

If it's intentional (which I really doubt because it looks terrible even by DF standards), it's inconsistent with the way the memory map handles other wall junctions -- it's not as if all smooth walls suddenly display as pillars when you can't see them anymore.

(0003558) PencilinHand (reporter) 2010-04-14 14:49	I see this sort of thing also in goblin towers at the end of a 1 tile wide wall. Its character display changes based on last line of sight.
